We have written this blog as a guide to our Winter Wonderland mini photo-shoots in December 2019.

The venue is our Studio at 27 Church Street, Coxhoe, Durham, DH64HE. We are located inside a shop called Party Forever with access through the shop Opal on the main road through Coxhoe. Our contact number is 07841676876. For your guidance the original event information and parent guidance is listed below.

"We will be transforming our Coxhoe studio into a magical winter wonderland. Children will be photographed in our themed studio area and your favourite images will be printed instantly to take away. The mini photo-shoot costs £10 per child and each child will get 1 large 9x6 inch print in with the price. You will have a choice of approximately 5 or 6 images per child. Additional products and print sizes will be available on the day. Please message us if you want to guarantee a space. These prints will make amazing Christmas gifts. To arrange your own mini shoot please LIKE our Facebook page then message us for details. Places are limited so if you are interested please don't delay."

We expect to photograph up to 4 children every half hour so it's important to be on time for your booking. Additional prints and sizes will be available on the day as well as large Keyrings. These will be extra to your initial 9x6 print. All additional prints/products are available to take away; 

Additional 9x6 print in mount £10, buy one get one half price.

2x 6x4 inch prints £10, buy 2 get 2 half prices 

2 large Keyrings £7. 

Payment by debit/credit cards can be used however these will attract a 2.75% charge.

Competition Information

To be eligible for the competition you need to Like our Facebook page, then leave a current email address on the day of your shoot. It may also be useful to subscribe to this blog for information on the winners and any further offers etc.

The competition is for the best Christmas/winter themed image produced in the studio each day. The photography area is dressed as a white tree lined winter woodland scene with props and including a sledge and a red mini bench. We will have a selection of Christmas hats, antlers and scarves available but please feel free to bring your own too, elf costumes are optional lol. The images will be independently judged and a winner selected.

The winner will receive an 12x8 inch print of the winning image. The 2 runners up will each receive one 9x6 inch print. So get thinking and dress the kids for Christmas.

We have been in our Coxhoe studio for 2 years now and business is going very well. Catering for a wide range of people has proven to be a great idea. Our family friendly attitude and sensible price structure has seen people come along and have a great experience without the fear of daft prices some photographers dream up.

Winter Wonderland mini Photo-Shoots 2015

Winter Wonderland 2015 at Inkspot Photography

The studio was transformed into a Winter Wonderland and a themed photography area was set up for our guests. The first day sessions were completely sold out in less than 12 hours. People travelled from around the northeast, as far as Jesmond and Darlington. We were well prepared and had allowed time enough for each mini photo-shoot. Photos were viewed instantly and the chosen images were printed in our super sized 9x6 inch printer. The studio was buzzing and it definitely felt like Christmas had arrived. The place was full of laughter and people chatting. A short video of the day can be found here;

Mini Christmas Photo-Shoots

We created a Christmas themed mini photo-shoot event  for the 5th December. We thought we had 2 weeks to generate interest for the event. Our marketing plan was to consist of Twitter, Facebook and a poster at the studio inside the Party Forever shop in Coxhoe. What we did not expect was once the Facebook event was created the full days bookings sold out within 12 hours. This fantastic response prompted us to release a second date. We again created an Facebook event and were overwhelmed with bookings. Every place was booked within 20 hrs and we have several people who have expressed disappointment and asked to be contacted should anyone cancel. 

As a thank you to everyone who booked we have decided to run a free competition from the photos of each day. The 2 winners will receive a free 18x12 print of their winning photograph plus a free Photo-Shoot in the new year. 

The competition is for the best dressed, Christmas themed photograph. So if you want a chance to win this great prize simply bring your child/children dressed for Christmas. Cake Smash Party

We recently held a cake smash photo-shoot at our Coxhoe studio. It was for Leila's 1st birthday. Prior to the cake smash we photographed her on her own and with Mam and Dad. The family photos went very well and produced some awesome images. Then she was changed into a tutu,  mam had brought for the session. She had a great time breaking into the cake and eating as she went. The end result was a destroyed cake with a very messy and happy young lady. The resulting images have quickly become very treasured memories. Our Cake Smash sessions are perfect for 1st and 2nd year birthdays. Photobooth meets Studio Photography

Our Pop-Up-Studio/Photobooth is where studio quality photography meets the party photobooth. All of the fun of a booth with the addition of studio quality photos from a real photographer.
